DEGASSING PROCESS

It s possible that during the s melting process, hydrogen gas (H2) is trapped. This is resulted by the combustion process that takes place and the presence of a damp material. PT. Altikamurni Internusa applies Degassing system so that the aluminum alloy produced is in good quality, and to prevent leakage during use.

In the Degassing process, we use modern equipment and materials that can release the trapped gas in aluminum. We use the pressurized Nitrogen gas (N2) 5 to 10 Bar to push the chemical is in charge of cleaning the aluminum from the trapped gas.

POROSITY TEST

After the completion of degassing process, we took a sample of the fluid to undergo porosity test. We use a Vacum Tester to check weather or not any gas or dirt are still trapped within.
