Before the aluminum goes into the molding stage, we take a number of samples to be tested with a spectrometer in the laboratory. It is important that the chemical composition reaches the standard composition expected by the customer. After checking, if the chemical composition does not meet the customer’s expectation, we will adjust some chemical composition until it reaches the standard composition expected by the customer.

In the smelting process, there may be trapped Hydrogen (H2) gas. This occurs due to the combustion process and the presence of moist materials. PT Altikamurni Internusa applies a degassing system so that the Aluminum Alloy produced is of good quality, and to prevent seepage during use.

After the degassing process is complete, we take a sample of the liquid to undergo a porosity test. We use a vacuum tester to check if there are any gases or impurities still trapped inside.
